Professor George Kofi Amoako is deeply committed to community engagement and social responsibility. Leadership and Mentorship

Professor George Kofi Amoako has exhibited leadership from an early age, serving as Spiritual Union Head and Head Prefect at Koforidua Secondary Technical School. He later became the founding president of the Campus Christian Family at KNUST (1990-1992) and youth pastor and dean at ICGC Ofankor. He was MBA Class President, GRASAG President, and a University Council Member at the University of Ghana in 2001. At Central University, he rose to Head of Marketing and Acting Dean, demonstrating his lifelong commitment to leadership and mentorship.

Educational Initiatives

Professor Amoako has supported educational initiatives through mentorship and training programmes. He facilitated life management skills training for Level 400 students at Central Business School between 2011 and 2012. Additionally, he played a key role in the British Council's Jobs for the Youth and Connecting Classroom Programmes, focusing on empowering young adults in entrepreneurship and education

National Assignments and Capacity Building

Over the past five years, Professor Amoako has undertaken more than 30 national assignments for the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC). He has also provided professional training for institutions such as the Bank of Ghana, Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority, and Ghana Insurance Commission, demonstrating his dedication to national capacity building and development

Community Engagement through Media

Professor Amoako has leveraged media platforms to engage the public on critical issues. He has participated in discussions on Ghana Television (GTV) Counselling Time and Accra-based Classic FM, addressing youth development and national challenges. These contributions underscore his commitment to community engagement and knowledge dissemination

Speaking Engagements

In 2016, Professor Amoako delivered a talk on Customer Profitability at a TEDx and British Council seminar at Impact Hub, Osu, Accra. In 2024, he was the opening speaker at the National Sales Leaders Conference, where he spoke on Personal Branding, Sales, and Sales Management. His participation in such high-profile events reflects his ability to share expertise on business strategies while inspiring others in the community.
